L’ITTO (International Tropical Timber Organization) est l’organisation intergouvernementale mondiale charg\u00e9e de promouvoir une forme d\u2019exploitation \u00e9co-responsable des ressources foresti\u00e8res dans les zones tropicales.<\/p>\n

Son organe gouvernemental est le Conseil International sur le bois qui comprend tous les membres de l\u2019organisation et qui se r\u00e9unit deux fois par an pour d\u00e9velopper politiques et normes relatives aux for\u00eats.
